Biography

“I strive to provide compassionate, patient-centred care, ensuring every individual receives the highest level of treatment and support for their ENT needs.”

Dr Shaun Loh is a Senior Consultant Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) surgeon with over 15 years of experience in the public healthcare sector. He is dedicated to providing top-tier, patient-centred care for a wide range of ENT conditions, including nasal blockages, sinus issues, throat disorders, and hearing loss.

Dr Loh has a subspecialty focus on snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), offering a full spectrum of treatment options—from conservative therapies and minimally invasive procedures to advanced solutions such as robotic surgery and hypoglossal nerve stimulation (HGNS).

As the pioneer of hypoglossal nerve stimulation in Singapore, Dr Loh played a key role in introducing this groundbreaking therapy to the region. He is currently the only appointed consulting surgeon for Inspire Medical Systems in Singapore, responsible for training ENT specialists across Asia in this advanced technique. His expertise ensures that patients receive tailored, cutting-edge treatment based on their specific needs.

Dr Loh’s patient-focused approach guides individuals through every step of their treatment journey, from initial diagnosis to optimising conservative therapies like CPAP. For suitable candidates, he offers HGNS therapy as a long-term solution for sleep apnea, helping improve sleep quality, daytime function, and overall health.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Loh is committed to medical education and surgical training, ensuring that OSA treatments in the region meet the highest standards of care. By mentoring and training surgeons across Singapore and neighbouring countries, he continues to drive advancements in the field and improve outcomes for patients with sleep apnea.
