Biography
Dr Sanjana Kondola is an experienced medical oncologist consulting at Icon Cancer Centre Rockingham. Dr Kondola completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Leeds and completed a post graduate diploma in oncology with distinction at the University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom. She completed specialist oncology training at Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia before becoming a fellow of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2017. Dr Kondola subsequently completed a fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital investigating the impact of tumour infiltrating macrophages on invasive breast cancer.
Dr Kondola is an active member of several leading medical associations including the Australian Medical Association (AMA), Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) and Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA). Her clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies, with special clinical interest in breast cancer, bladder cancer, cancer survivorship, gastrointestinal cancer and genitourinary cancers.
