Dr Wu Pang Hung is a highly skilled orthopaedic and spine surgeon. He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2006 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Dean’s List Award. He later completed a Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine in 2010 and a Master of Medicine Orthopaedic Surgery in 2014. Dr Wu became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2009 and was appointed a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (Orth) in 2016.

Passionate about medical education, Dr Wu holds appointments as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, and Visiting Professor at Henan Third Provincial People’s Hospital in China.

From 2023 to 2024, he was the inaugural clinical lead of the Endoscopic Spine Surgery Focus Group in Singapore Spine Society and is currently a board member of the ASEAN Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery Committee.

Dr Wu also holds a patent for a medical device – a C-arm drape used in fluoroscopy – in Singapore, Australia, Japan, China, Canada, and the USA.

Throughout his career, Dr Wu has been recognised for his contributions to medicine and education, receiving numerous accolades such as the Orthopaedic Teaching Excellence Award (NUS) and Service Star Award at Ng Teng Feng General Hospital, Singapore.

Beyond his medical practice, Dr Wu is deeply committed to charitable work. He previously served as an Ex-Board Member of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Singapore and currently holds the role of Honorary Board Member of the Children’s Charities Association of Singapore.

Dr Wu is fluent in English, Chinese and Cantonese, ensuring patients and their families feel comfortable communicating in their preferred language.
