Dr Chou Ning graduated from the National University of Ireland where he earned his Bachelor of Obstetrics and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, as well as becoming a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians. He later became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and completed his Master of Medicine degree at National University of Singapore. In 1995, Dr Chou was awarded the Ministry of Health Human Manpower Development program for advanced training in neurosurgery. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Dr Chou is passionate about his clinical practice, having trained and practiced internationally to hone his skills in neurosurgery. His experience covers a wide range of neurosurgical techniques, including the use of Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery for deep seated tumours. He is dedicated to leadership and sharing his knowledge with fellow surgeons and the next generation of medical professionals. Dr Chou has held notable leadership positions at hospitals across Singapore, including as the Head of Neurosurgery at both National University Hospital and Alexandra Hospital. He has devoted his career to building strong teams and providing them with hands-on training that has helped them become successful in their careers.
Dr Chou accepts referrals for all cancer types, with a special clinical interest in surgery for brain cancer.
