Dr Eng Soh Ping completed his medical degree at the National University of Singapore in 1991, and subsequently commenced advanced surgical training at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary (Glasgow) and Ninewells Hospital (Dundee). He went on to complete fellowships in the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh and Ireland. In 2004, Dr Eng was awarded the National Health Scholarship as part of the SingHealth Health Manpower Development Programme to undergo sub-specialty training in the field of otology and laryngology. During this extensive fellowship training, Dr Eng gained invaluable experience in ear, nose, voice and throat disorders under internationally renowned experts and professors in ENT.

With a passion for the ongoing education and training of the next generation of medical professionals, Dr Eng dedicates his time to mentoring students in his clinic alongside regularly delivering educational talks to not only doctors, but also the general public. Dr Eng was the co-director of the 4th Asia Pacific Otology Meeting and Singapore ENT Laser Course and has also been a reviewer of the Singapore Medical Journal & European ENT Journal, publishing and contributing to many articles and book chapters. His clinical interest in ENT extends to paediatric care, having served as a visiting consultant at KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Dr Eng is passionate about contributing to society both personally and professionally and is the founding member of IMPACT Contact Singapore, where he has led medical missions to provide ear surgeries in countries such as Nepal, Cambodia and Bangladesh.

Dr Eng is dedicated to connecting with his patients and addressing their concerns in detail, ensuring they feel at ease and that they are in good hands. He can converse in Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

Dr Eng accepts referrals for all cancer types, with a special clinical interest in the treatment of ear, nose and throat (ENT) cancers in both adults and children. He specialises in treating obstructive sleep apnoea and conditions of the nose, sinus, thyroid and salivary gland.
