Dr Marcus Wong is an experienced plastic surgery and breast oncoplastic surgeon, with expertise in autologous flap and expander/implant breast reconstruction.

Dr Wong completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Singapore (NUS) in 1996. He obtained his fellowship at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) in 2001 and received his Master of Medicine in Surgery from NUS in 2002. Dr Wong subsequently obtained his SMC Specialist Registration and MOH Specialist Accreditation Board in Plastic Surgery in 2008.

He holds memberships in the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons and International Society of Plastics & Regenerative Surgeons. Dr Wong’s past appointments include founding head and senior consultant Tan Tock Seng Hospital Plastic Surgery, program director for the National Healthcare Group (NHG) plastic surgery residency program and Residency Advisory Committee (RAC) member for the national plastic surgery residency training program.

With an active role in medical education, Dr Wong was an adjunct assistant professor at the Nanyang Technological University, senior clinical lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and a clinical teacher at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journals in his area of expertise and has been an invited speaker at several international conferences.
