Metastatic breast cancer in young women

Icon Writers

Metastatic breast cancer refers to breast cancer that has spread to distant areas of the body, such as the lungs, liver or brain. Although this is an advanced stage of breast cancer, research has found that young women do as well, if not better, than their older counterparts during treatment and beyond.

In the below video, Icon Medical Oncologist Dr Lee Guek Eng discusses advanced breast cancer in young women and the future of treatment for metastatic breast cancer.
