Dr Lee Kuok Chung is an experienced surgeon whose clinical interests include colorectal cancer surgery, benign perianal conditions, robotic colorectal surgery, and advanced endoscopic procedures.
Dr Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005. He completed his basic surgical training across various surgical departments at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) in 2007.
He subsequently underwent advanced surgical training at the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2014 upon completion of his specialist training in General Surgery.
Following completion of his specialist training in 2014, Dr Lee has specialised in colorectal surgery. In 2015, he underwent robotic colorectal surgery training at Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, under the Ministry of Health Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP). He has served as a Consultant Surgeon in the Division of Colorectal Surgery at NUH since 2016.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Lee actively mentors both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. He is also involved in organising the final MBBS examinations at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and serves on the core committee of the NUHS General Surgery Residency Programme.
