As CEO of Icon Cancer centre – ASEAN, Serena has spent her career in healthcare and is well-versed in the regions multicultural and diverse healthcare landscape. Prior to her position as CEO, Serena joined Icon in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer, leading regional operations which has seen the business increase their footprint and build upon their services across the region.

She has held a number of senior management positions across Singapore, including, Vice President at TE Asia Healthcare, a private healthcare investment and operations platform backed by TPG Capital. TE Asia invests in and operates a portfolio of healthcare assets in the region, focussing on specialty centres and hospitals. She was also Co-founder, group managing director and chairman of the board of Can-Care Holdings, a healthcare provider focussed on post-care and rehabilitation products for oncology patients.

Serena has amassed a broad experience in healthcare management and business development including strategic planning, hospital business process reengineering and management of clinical services for some of Asia and America’s largest private healthcare providers.

Serena is a relationship builder with knowledge in organisational planning, project management, contract negotiations, and increasing business visibility for growth.
